Having a solid plan, objectives, and goals are crucial if you want to dominate your social media strategy! If you are not sure about what you want, how can you ever hope to achieve it? Make sure your goals are SMART! (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound)!

Create contests that are run on your social media platforms! This tactic will increase your online visibility, and your engagement. The key is to create a contest that has tremendous perceived or actual value.

The next question we often get is “what if I don’t have any money for a contest?” Have no fear, there is something you do have… your time!

For example, if you are website design company, off one of your products for free. You can then market the perceived value (whatever you would charge for let’s say a logo), as the prize. Establishing a real connection will go a long way. Do you sell outdoor patio furniture? Great, jump in on some conversations about “the big game” that week. Have an opinion on golf? Sweet! Share it! People tend to gravitate towards businesses and organizations if they trust those brands. One of the best “social” moves a business has done in recent memory is Wendy’s Twitter handle.
